Seed to Soul Foundation was created to expand access to trauma-informed, body-based healing for veterans, people in recovery, trauma survivors, and underserved communities.
Our work is grounded in the belief that healing should not depend on who can afford it — and that the body can become a place of awareness, choice, connection, and return.
Veteran-Led • Trauma-Informed • Community-Based • Nonprofit
Seed to Soul Foundation was born from a desire to make trauma-informed, embodied healing more accessible to people who may not otherwise receive this kind of care.
The foundation grew from years of personal healing work and professional experience supporting others through trauma, recovery, nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and compassionate self-connection.
What began as a deep commitment to healing through the body has become a community-centered nonprofit dedicated to bringing safe, structured, body-based support into the places where people are already being served.
Seed to Soul Foundation was founded by Eileen Leslie, a disabled veteran, certified yoga therapist, trauma-informed practitioner, and longtime student of embodied healing.
Eileen’s work grew from both lived experience and years of supporting others through body-based healing, self-inquiry, recovery, and nervous system regulation. Her path has included military service, professional investigative work, yoga therapy, somatic awareness, energy-based practices, and community-centered care.
Seed to Soul reflects that lived mission: to help bring compassionate, trauma-informed, body-based healing to people and communities who may not otherwise have access to this kind of support.
Seed to Soul is guided by the belief that healing work should be safe, accessible, body-honoring, and rooted in relationship. These values shape how we serve participants, partner with organizations, and steward the mission entrusted to us.
Access
We believe trauma-informed, body-based healing should be available to people who may not otherwise be able to afford or reach it.
Safety
We honor pacing, choice, consent, dignity, and the lived experience of each participant.
Embodiment
We support healing through awareness of sensation, breath, emotion, movement, self-observation, and compassionate presence.
Community
We bring healing into relationship — through trusted partners, supportive settings, and shared human connection.
Seed to Soul partners with recovery programs, veteran organizations, shelters, community agencies, justice/reentry programs, nonprofits, donors, and referral partners to expand access to trauma-informed, body-based healing.
Our primary offering, the Embodied Healing Program, is an 8-week group experience designed to support awareness, regulation, choice, self-trust, and connection.
The program is not therapy, medical treatment, or crisis intervention. It is a supportive, trauma-informed experience designed to complement existing care and help participants reconnect with the wisdom of the body.
